CREC Completes 23,850 SF In New Retail Leases In 30 Days

Waterbridge Downs Shopping Center in Orlando has completed five retail leases totaling 7,970 square feet of space. The leases will bring a diverse range of services to the 112,864-square-foot shopping center located at the corner of South Orange Blossom Trail and Waterbridge Boulevard, adjacent to the upscale Waterbridge residential community. Dish Network is taking 1,400 square feet, physician John Mason will lease 1,400 square feet, Lindisima Massage Therapy will occupy 1,020 square feet, Los Lagos Market is taking 1,750 square feet, and Orlando Marketing Group has leased 2,400 square feet.

Alafaya Village in Orlando will be the new home of Peak Performance, which is taking up 2,350 square feet. On Mission Martial Arts is set to occupy 1,279 square feet. The retail and office complex is comprised of 50,261 square feet at 2800 South Alafaya Trail.

Colonial Promenade in Winter Haven has leased 3,450 square feet to Reem’s Beauty Supply and 1,550 square feet to Winter Haven Pharmacy at the 286,297-square-foot shopping center anchored by Walmart.

The Trails Shopping Center in Ormond Beach has signed Ormond Antiquities to 1,200 square feet and European Wax Center to 1,240 square feet. The 150,000-square-foot retail property is situated at 216-348 North Nova Road, just North of Daytona Beach.

Hancock Village in Clermont is leasing 2,142 square feet to Dr. Edwin Acosta for a dental office. The 25,244-square-foot shopping center, anchored by Mexican restaurant Tijuana Flats and a Walgreens pharmacy, is located at the intersection of North Hancock Road and State Road 50.

Berry Town Center, a 94,441-square-foot shopping center in Davenport, has leased 1,050 square feet to Total Furniture. The property is anchored by Publix supermarket and located at 2450 Sand Mine Road.

Timber Springs in Orlando has inked a 1,618 square foot lease with All 4 Pets. The 35,099-square-foot shopping center, anchored by a Walmart Neighborhood Market, is located at 433 Avalon Park South Blvd.

“This surge of transaction activity since the start of the new year signals continued interest among retailers seeking to occupy premium shopping center locations in neighborhoods offering easy access to major thoroughfares and close proximity to residential population density,” said CREC Vice President Josh Busby. “With the region’s consumer economy strengthening, we anticipate regional and national tenants will continue to expand in key submarkets throughout Central Florida.” On the tenant representation side, Mr. Cutchin represented JNT Healthcare in securing a 2,250-square-foot lease at Central Park Plaza, situated at 1701 West Oak Ridge Road in Orlando. In a separate transaction, Mr. Busby advised Woody’s BBQ in a 2,540-square-foot lease at Lake Mary Village, located at the corner of Lake Mary and Greenwood boulevards in Lake Mary. CREC has also been tapped to identify and secure new retail locations for regional and local tenants including Rent King, which is seeking 6,000 to 9,000 square feet; Workout Anytime, which is in the market for 5,000 to 6,000 square feet; Original Mattress Factory in its search for locations offering between 2,400 and 3,000 square feet; Woody’s BBQ, which has a requirement of 2,000 to 3,000 square feet; Script Exchange Pharmacy as it seeks spaces with 2,200 to 2,500 square feet; and Signature Cleaners in its search of locations offering 1,200 to 2,000 square feet.]]>
