Tavistock Gears Up For $74.6M Office Project

Lake Nona developer Tavistock Development Co. wants to get “shovel-ready” for yet another office project in the mixed-use Lake Nona Town Center, a company representative said.

The developer seeks two building permits totaling $74.6 million for a 220,330-square-foot office and a six-level parking garage at Veterans Way and Lake Nona Boulevard, according to city of Orlando data. The project will join an adjacent 120,000-square-foot office building with a parking garage currently under construction.

Tavistock has no groundbreaking plans for the larger building, spokeswoman Karlee Kunkle said. Meanwhile, Kunkle declined to share any tenant updates on the smaller building under construction. Southfield, Michigan-based Barton Malow Co. is the general contractor for both projects.

The office buildings join the $780 million, 3.8 million-square-foot, mixed-use town center that Tavistock is developing in partnership with Columbus, Ohio-based Steiner + Associates. A total of four office buildings are planned, under construction or completed.   Source:  OBJ
