New Tenants Debut At Area Malls

Simon Property Group, Inc. is bringing three new tenants — including an Orlando-area restaurant chain — into two of its area malls.

Habaneros Mexican Grill, which has six restaurants plus an El Cerro sister concept in Central Florida — will open its eighth local eatery at Seminole Towne Center by the end of this year. The restaurant took over a 5,100-square-foot former Ruby Tuesday space on the mall’s upper level near J.C. Penney.

Habaneros joins Burlington Coat Factory, Dick’s Sporting Goods and iFix & Repair as the mall’s newest tenants. Burlington and Dick’s are set to open in October, while iFix & Repair will also debut in the fall.

Meanwhile, Aerosoles and Sunglass Hut at Play are the newest tenants at The Florida Mall. The 1,594-square-foot Aerosoles is set to open sometime in the fall, while the 669-square-foot Sunglass Hut at Play will open in August, a release said. The mall announced several new retailers last month, as well as a redevelopment of the former Dylan’s Candy Bar in the mall’s Center Court.
