A new 427,000-square-foot shopping center is headed to the Osceola-Orange County border — and it’s already got a pretty solid lineup of tenants, including several big boxes.

Tupperware Brands Corp., New York-based O’Connor Capital Partners and West Palm Beach businessman Peter Bergner  late last month started site work on the planned $60 million, 68-acre The Crosslands shopping center at on the northwest corner of South Orange Blossom Trail and Osceola Parkway.

Construction of the center is expected to create about 600 temporary jobs, while the stores and restaurants also will be hiring as they prepare to open their doors. Additionally, it will be a new commercial development close to the planned Osceola Parkway SunRail station, which  could be under construction next year.

The Crosslands already has 11 tenants signed, as well as multiple letters of intent on potential tenants.

Here’s the list of signed tenants as of April 7:

  • Haverty’s furniture store
  • Marshalls/Home Goods combo store
  • Hobby Lobby
  • Academy Sports + Outdoors, which is a new concept for the Orlando area
  • PetSmart
  • Ross Dress For Less
  • Discovery Clothing, also a first store in Central Florida
  • Deals
  • Boot Barn
  • Starbucks
  • Orange Theory Fitness
  • Cheddar’s Casual Cafe
