The NASCAR Foundation has officially moved its headquarters from Charlotte, N.C., to Daytona Beach.

The foundation will be housed in the International Motorsports Center office building across from the Daytona International Speedway.

Along with the move, the foundation introduced Lorene King as its new executive director. King, who previously led the fundraising for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., replaces Sandy Marshall who has headed up the foundation since 2006.

Along with King, seven other executives from the foundation will be based in Daytona Beach.

NASCAR, the International Speedway and Grand-Am Racing Association are all headquartered in Daytona Beach.
