McCraney Breaks Ground On 1 MSF Industrial Development, Selects Marcobay Construction As GC

McCraney Property Company retained Marcobay Construction as the general contractor for Bent Oak Industrial Park Phase II and swiftly began construction. The one-million-square-foot class A industrial spec development project is located on 66-acres at the intersection of Taft Vineland Road and the Florida Turnpike in the Southeast Orange County submarket of Orlando. Construction on Phase II commences less than a year after 703,920 square feet was delivered at Bent Oak Industrial Park Phase I and subsequently 65 percent leased by end of 2015. On the heels of this success, McCraney Property Company and JV Partner Clarion Partners will again partner on one of the area’s largest speculative build-to-suit developments. Within months of announcing the second phase at Bent Oak, Freeman Expositions signed a lease to occupy nearly half of the project in a 451,823 square foot transaction.
