JLL announced that the entire team of Cite Partners, a boutique commercial real estate firm based in Orlando, has joined JLL.

The 20 new hires, including 11 brokers, five property management personnel and four support staff; bring with them Cite Partners’ impressive roster of regional and national clients, over 14 million square feet of agency listing assignments across the industrial, retail and office sectors, as well as a 3 million-square-foot property management portfolio. The mass recruitment effort greatly expands JLL’s market presence in the region and solidifies the firm’s reputation as a leading commercial real estate brokerage in Central Florida.

“The hiring of this well-established brokerage team shows our strategic commitment to further expanding JLL’s footprint across the state,” said JLL Florida Market Director Tim Rivers. “The vast majority of these new hires were leading brokers with national CRE firms before forming Cite Partners. These additions will significantly deepen JLL’s bench of talent and service offerings in Central Florida, particularly among our brokerage, property management and capital markets practice groups.”

Founded in June 2014, Cite Partners quickly became Orlando’s leading boutique commercial real estate firm by taking a team approach to its advisory practice and delivering exceptional results for clients. Cite Partners provided brokerage, capital markets, consulting and management services to regional and national clients across a wide array of real estate industries who range from large institutional REITS to individual private investors.

The Cite Partners team was led by Matthew Sullivan and Wilson McDowell, who served as principals and managing directors of the firm. Sullivan, regarded as a top industrial broker in the Central Florida market, was Senior Managing Director in the Orlando office of Colliers International prior to starting Cite Partners. He has extensive experience in the representation of investors and users of industrial properties.

McDowell, who was Colliers International’s Managing Director of Industrial Services before Cite Partners, is well known for his expertise in representing tenants, landlords, buyers and sellers in the disposition, acquisition, development and leasing of industrial real estate. Both McDowell and Sullivan have been named Managing Directors at JLL.

“Although we have built fantastic relationships with a number of national clients, we realized that we were unable to develop them to their full potential due to size constraints,” Sullivan said. “By joining JLL, a global brokerage whose culture and values are aligned with ours, our team can now operate within a best-in-class firm where we have the opportunity to grow and foster our national relationships while better serving the firm’s current client base.”

Brokers making the move from Cite Partners to JLL also include: Billy Rodriguez, Senior Vice President, retail; Bobby Isola, Senior Vice President, industrial; Jamie Barati, Senior Vice President, office; John Krzyminski, Vice President, retail Capital Markets; John Worrell, Vice President, office; Max Krzyminski, Senior Associate, retail Capital Markets; Colette Santana, Senior Associate, retail; , Daniel Broussard, Senior Associate, retail; and Collin Rahill, Associate, retail.

They’re joined on the property management side by Brittany Mead, General Manager of Property Management; Melissa Edgin, Property Manager; and Laura Monaco, Assistant Property Manager.

The Cite Partners office will remain open temporarily while the team is integrated into JLL’s Orlando operations.
