CushWake Hires New Industrial Services Group Director

Cushman & Wakefield hired a new executive director in its industrial services group to represent corporate occupiers throughout the Southeast and North America. Bayne Porter, formerly part of a top producing industrial real estate services team at CBRE, joined the firm and will bring more than 20 years of experience to Cushman & Wakefield’s offices in Atlanta and Orlando. Specifically, Porter will help the industrial services group grow Cushman & Wakefield’s specialized build-to-suit practice group. This group will be focused on account management, build-to-suit services and occupier building acquisitions. “Bayne’s expertise in the analysis, planning and execution of build-to-suit transactions is among the most impressive in our industry,” said John Morris, head of Cushman & Wakefield’s industrial services group. Since mid-2012, Porter has represented BMW, Kuehne + Nagel and Mercedes in the acquisition of facilities in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Redlands, CA, Greer, SC, Charlotte, NC and Tuscaloosa, AL, totaling approximately 2.4 million square feet and valued at more than $144 million.
