Cushman & Wakefield announced that its Florida Asset Services Group has secured the management rights to 12 buildings totaling 1,189,570 square feet (MSF) throughout Central Florida. The buildings comprise a mix of industrial, office, and flex space.

These recent successes build on the tremendous momentum Cushman & Wakefield’s Asset Services Group has established in Florida since 2013. At that time, Cushman & Wakefield’s Florida management portfolio stood at 5.3 MSF. The group was able to grow the portfolio to 18 MSF by September 2015. Today, a little over one year later, the statewide portfolio has increased dramatically to 43 MSF.

“Cushman & Wakefield has made a concerted effort to aggressively grow its Asset Services platform in the state of Florida,” said Tim Rivers, Senior Managing Director of Asset Services in Florida . “We’ve been able to increase our footprint significantly via merger, acquisition and dogged business development efforts.”

“The driving force behind this growth are the hundreds of incredible professionals who make up our Florida Asset Services Group,” added Rivers. “We’ve been able to assemble the top professionals in our industry, who consistently perform above and beyond, and property owners have taken notice.”
