Crossman & Company Brings Project Manager On Board

Crossman & Company continues to strengthen development services by announcing that Robert Spiak has joined the firm as project manager. Spiak comes to Crossman & Company from JLL where he was a senior project manager. There he created and led a capital planning team for JP Morgan Chase retail retrofit projects. Spiak was instrumental in developing protocol for managing projects and training staff on Chase’s retail retrofit and business models. Spiak will report to Crossman & Company President John Zielinski, CCIM.

Prior to JLL, Spiak spearheaded the creation of a new construction protocol which provided for a seamless transition of project work at JP Morgan Chase between the real estate department and the construction team, which greatly increased “speed to market. Spiak’s background will help Crossman & Company streamline project implementation for clients.  He has been responsible for planning and implementing over 100 retrofits projections annually.

In the past Spiak has partnered with real estate teams on lease negotiations, obtaining necessary entitlements/permits and developing a construction plan to construct the improvement including the management of the outside consultants. In his 30-year career he has managed multimillion dollar projects and budgets Crossman & Company represents more than 385 shopping centers in the Southeast with over 28 million square feet under leasing and/or management.
