CBRE’s James Mitchell Promoted To Executive Vice President

CBRE announced that James Mitchell has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Retail Advisory & Transaction Services based on superior production levels.

Mr. Mitchell is based in Orlando and is a well-recognized market leader in the Florida retail business. During his 15-year tenure at CBRE, Mr. Mitchell has executed more than $800 million in transactions on behalf of his clients. He focuses his business model on site acquisition, disposition and transaction management for national and regional clients, and he specializes in tenant representation of large retail anchors, junior anchors, outparcel and inline users.  In addition, he represents many well-known developers on the leasing of ground-up retail developments throughout Florida.

Mr. Mitchell has extensive knowledge of all markets in Florida and has excellent working relationships with the local, regional and national developers, tenant’s and landlords that operate in these respective markets. He has also been a member of the CBRE Retail Advisory Council (RAC). The RAC is a global group of selected retail professionals collaborating with CBRE senior management to guide the overall direction and macro strategy of CBRE Retail Services.
