CBRE Exec Bill Moss Retires, 30-Year Industry Professional Named Replacement

CBRE‘s Orlando Senior Managing Director Bill Moss, who founded the local office for the firm in the 1980s, announced his upcoming retirement and Jim Gray of Orlando-based CRE investment and advisory firm GrayPointe Capital was appointed managing director of the Orlando office, effective immediately.

Moss will remain on board to assist with the transition, according to a news release.

Moss has spent 40 years in the commercial real estate industry and has had a significant impact on the local industry during his 35-year leadership stint with CBRE. Moss started the firm’s Orlando office in 1983.

Jim Gray — who also is a commissioner with the city of Orlando — brings with him to CBRE more than 30 years of experience, insight and relationships, primarily in capital markets. Prior to GrayPointe Capital, Gray spent nearly two decades with Eola Capital LLC and Parkway Properties.
